ISRO URSC Technician B Call Letter
The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidate eligible to be called for Written test. There will be an initial screening, based on the academic performance and other parameters provided by the candidates/ applicants in the on-line applications and only those screened-in candidates will be called for Written test to be held in Bengaluru only.
Candidates those who qualify based on the performance/ parameters set by URSC in the written test and taking into consideration of number of vacancies notified, will have to appear for Endurance Test/Skill test which will be held in Bengaluru only.
Minimum Physical Standards:
(i) No Deformity (inter alia, bow legs, knock knees or flat foot shall be a disqualification (ii) Height-165 ems (Minimum) (iii) Weight- 50Kgs (Minimum) (iv) Chest- 81 ems ((Minimum) and chest on expansion 86 ems (v) Distant vision: 6/6 without wearing glasses or any other aid. (vi) Near vision: Normal but for presbyopic correction for persons above 40 years (vii) Night or colour blindness shall be a disqualification (viii) Each eye must have full field of vision (ix) Squint or any other morbid condition of the eyes, oroftheeyelidsof either eye liable to the risk of aggravation or recurrence, shall be deemed to be a disqualification.
Endurance Test Standards:
100 meter run in 13 seconds
High Jump: 5 ft. (152.40 cm)
Long Jump: 17 ft. (5.19 mtrs)
Putting the shot of7.27 Kg (16 lbs): 24 ft. (7 .32 mtrs
Throwing the cricket ball: 225 ft. (68.58 mtrs)
Rope climbing (only hands): 14 ft. (4.27 mtrs)
Pull-ups: 10
1500 mtrs run in 5minutes15 seconds. (Out of 08 events shown above, the candidate should select and qualify in atleast 05 events).
Note: The Written Test/Skill Test/Endurance Test will be conducted forthe screened-in/shortlisted candidates in Bengaluru only.
Merit List
The candidates appointed under PwBD and Ex-Servicemen quota will be adjusted against the vacancy of respective categories of SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR. Persons suffering from not less than 40% of relevant disability shall alone be eligible for the benefit of reservation and other relaxation as permissible under rules. Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) and Ex-Servicemen can apply to the posts suitable to them even if the post is not reserved for them. However, such candidates will be considered for selection to such post by general standard of merit.
Skill test/Endurance test will be purely on ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in the skill test shall not be considered for selection. The final selection will be done, amongst qualified candidates, purely based on the scores obtained in the written test. In case of a tie in written test scores, the academic scores of the notified qualification shall be the tie breaker.
Final Selection
The final selection will be done amongst qualified candidates, purely based on the scores obtained by them in the written test. From amongst candidates who qualify in the Skill test, with minimum 60% marks, empanelment shall be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test. Skill test, will be purely on ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in the skill test shall not be considered for final selection [Skill test is qualification criteria, wherein the candidate obtaining minimum 60% as go (qualified) and less than 60% as no-go (not qualified)]. In case of a tie in written test scores, the academic scores of the notified qualification(s) shall be the tie breaker.

ISRO URSC Technician B Technical Assistant Answer Sheet
The candidate will be supplied carbonless O M R (Optical mark Reader) answer sheet consisting of two (2) copies the original copy and the duplicate copy below. Do not attempt to separate or displace them while answering without the carbon impression paper provided to the candidates. The candidate will be admitted to take the examination at the Centre specified in the Admission Certificate only and at no other Centre. The candidate has to indicate his response to each question by darkening the appropriate bubble with a Black Ball Point pen. No corrections with white fluid will be permitted.
Certificate Verification
In the examination hall, the call letter along with the candidate’s currently valid photo identity, in original, such as PAN Card/Passport/Driving Licence/Voter’s Card with photograph/Photo identity proof issued on original letter head by a Gazzetted Officer/People’s Representative or Identity Card issued by a recognised college/ University (valid in current year)/Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID, should be submitted to the invigilator for verification.
Note: The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter and in the Attendance List. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the Online Examination.

A Candidate who is found breaching the abovesaid direction or found to be indulging in ‘unfair practices’, viz. copying or misconduct during the course of examination, using electronic gadgets or Mobile Phones, etc., tampering with Question and/or Answer Paper, influencing any person concerned with the Elimination Test or Written Examination or Viva-voce Test, will be debarred from appearing for Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test) or Main Written Examination or Viva-voce Test, as the case may be, for that Examination Process or for any number of years or permanently.
Merit List: Candidates qualifying the norms as prescribed in the advertisement will be called for Written Test / online test. Selection will be based on the marks secured in the Written Test / online test in the order of merit.
