6. इन्न- नाशि-अतल्लैलि हि-य अशद्दु वत्अंव् व अक़्वमु की़ला

Inn rabb-ka yalamu ann-ka takumu adna min sulu-sayillaili wa nisfahu wa sulu-sahu wa tai fatum minallazi-na ma-a-k wallahu yuqaddirullai-l vannaha-r ali-m allan tuhsuhu fata-b alaikum fakrau ma ta-yass-r minl quraani ali- Ma ans-yakunu minkum marza wa akhru-na yajribu-na filarzi yabtgu-na min fazllillahi wa akhru-na yuqatilu-na fi sabilillahi fakrau ma ta-yass-ra minhu wa aqimussala-ta wa atuzka-ta wa akrizulla-ha karzan ha-sanan wa ma tuqadimu li-anfusikum Min khairin tajiduhu indallahi hu-wa khairav wa aaz-m ajran wastaghfirullah-ha innalla-ha ghafoor rahim

बिस्मिल्लाहिर्रहमानिर्रहीम
अल्लाह के नाम से जो रहमान व रहीम है
1. या अय्युहल् मुज़्ज़म्मिलु
ऐ (मेरे) चादर लपेटे रसूल
2. कुमिल् लै–ल इल्ला क़लीला
रात को (नमाज़ के वास्ते) खड़े रहो मगर (पूरी रात नहीं)
3. निस्फ़हू अविन्कुस् मिन्हु क़लीला
थोड़ी रात या आधी रात या इससे भी कुछ कम कर दो या उससे कुछ बढ़ा दो
4. औ ज़िद् अ़लैहि व रत्तिलिल् कुरआन तरतीला
और क़ुरान को बाक़ायदा ठहर ठहर कर पढ़ा करो
5. इन्ना सनुल्की अ़लैक कौ़लन् सकी़ला
हम अनक़रीब तुम पर एक भारी हुक्म नाज़िल करेंगे इसमें शक़ नहीं कि रात को उठना
6. इन्न– नाशि–अतल्लैलि हि–य अशद्दु वत्अंव् व अक़्वमु की़ला
ख़ूब (नफ्स का) पामाल करना और बहुत ठिकाने से ज़िक्र का वक्त है
7. इन्न ल–क फ़िन्नहारि सब्हन् तवीला
दिन को तो तुम्हारे बहुत बड़े बड़े अशग़ाल हैं
8. वज़्कुरिस्म रब्बि–क व त–बत्तल् इलैहि तब्तीला
तो तुम अपने परवरदिगार के नाम का ज़िक्र करो और सबसे टूट कर उसी के हो रहो
9. रब्बुल् मश्रिकि वल् मग्रिबि ला इला–ह इल्ला हु–व फ़त्तख़िज़हु वकीला
(वही) मशरिक और मग़रिब का मालिक है उसके सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं तो तुम उसी को कारसाज़ बनाओ
10. वसबिर अ़ला मा यकूलू–न वह्जुरहुम् हज्रन् जमीला
और जो कुछ लोग बका करते हैं उस पर सब्र करो और उनसे बा उनवाने शाएस्ता अलग थलग रहो
11. व जर्नी वल् मुकज़्ज़इ बी–न उलिन्नअ्मति व मह्हिल्हुम् क़लीला
और मुझे उन झुठलाने वालों से जो दौलतमन्द हैं समझ लेने दो और उनको थोड़ी सी मोहलत दे दो
12. इन्न लदैना अन्कालंव् व जहीमा
बेशक हमारे पास बेड़ियाँ (भी) हैं और जलाने वाली आग (भी)
13. व तआ़मन् ज़ा गुस्सतिंव् व अ़ज़ाबन् अलीमा
और गले में फँसने वाला खाना (भी) और दुख देने वाला अज़ाब (भी)
14. यौ–म तर्जुफुल् अर्जु वल् जिबालु व कानतिल् जिबालु कसीबम् महीला
जिस दिन ज़मीन और पहाड़ लरज़ने लगेंगे और पहाड़ रेत के टीले से भुर भुरे हो जाएँगे
15. इन्ना अरसल्ना इलैकुम् रसूलन् शाहिदन् अ़लैकुम् कमा अरसल्ना इला फिरऔन रसूला
(ऐ मक्का वालों) हमने तुम्हारे पास (उसी तरह) एक रसूल (मोहम्मद) को भेजा जो तुम्हारे मामले में गवाही दे जिस तरह फिरऔन के पास एक रसूल (मूसा) को भेजा था
16. फ़–अ़सा फ़िरऔ़नुर–रसू–ल फ़ अख़ज्नाहु अख़्ज़ंव् वबीला
तो फिरऔन ने उस रसूल की नाफ़रमानी की तो हमने भी (उसकी सज़ा में) उसको बहुत सख्त पकड़ा
17. फ़कै–फ़ तत्तकू–न इन् कफ़र–तुम् यौमंय्यज् अ़लुल् विल्दा–न शीबा
तो अगर तुम भी न मानोगे तो उस दिन (के अज़ाब) से क्यों कर बचोगे जो बच्चों को बूढ़ा बना देगा
18. अस्समा–उ मुन्फ़तिरुम् बिही का–न वअ्दुहू मफ़अूला
जिस दिन आसमान फट पड़ेगा (ये) उसका वायदा पूरा होकर रहेगा
19. इन्न हाज़िही तज्कि–रतुन् फ़–मन् शाअत्त–ख़–ज़ इला रब्बिही सबीला
बेशक ये नसीहत है तो जो शख़्श चाहे अपने परवरदिगार की राह एख्तेयार करे
Surah Muzammil Tarjuma in English
bismillahhirrahmanirrahim
In the name of Allah who is Rahman and Rahim
1. Ya Ayyuhl Muzzammilu
oh (my) wrapped messenger
2. Kumil Lay-l Illa Qalila
Stand up at night (for prayer) but (not the whole night)
3. Nisfahu Avinkus Minhu Qalila
reduce or increase by a night or midnight or more
4. Au Zid Alaihi Wa Rattilil Quran Tartila
And read the Qur’an regularly
5. Inna Sanulki Alaik Kolan Sakila
We will soon send down upon you a heavy order, there is no doubt that getting up at night
6. Inn-Nashi-Atallaili Hi-Y Ashddu Vatanv Va Aqvamu Keela
It’s time to trample on a lot (of the Nafs) and mention a lot of places
7. Inn l-ka finnahari sabhan taweela
You have a lot of things to do during the day
8. Vazkurism Rabbi-k wat-battal ilahi tabtila
So you mention the name of your Lord and break away from everyone and belong to Him.
9. Rabbul mashrikhi wal maghribi la ila-ha illa hu-wa fattkhizhu wakilah
(He) is the Lord of the East and the West, there is no god other than Him, so make Him the builder.
10. Wasbir Ala Ma Yakulu-Na Wahjurhum Hajran Jameela
And be patient with what people say and stay away from them
11. Wa journa wal muqazzai bi-na ullinnamati wa mahhilhum kalila
And let me deal with the deniers who are wealthy and give them some respite
12. Inn Ladaina Ankalanv and Jahima
Verily with Us are the fetters (also) and the kindling fire (also)
13. Wa Taaman Za Gusstinv Wa Azaban Alima
And food that gets stuck in the throat (also) and painful punishment (also)
14. Yau-ma tarjuful arju wal jibalu va kantil jibalu kasibam mahila
The day the earth and the mountains will tremble and the mountains will turn into sand dunes
15. Inna arsalna ilaikum rasoolan shahidan alaikum kama arsalna ila faroon rasula
(O people of Mecca) We have sent to you a Messenger (Muhammad) to bear witness in your case as We sent a Messenger (Moses) to Pharaoh.
16. F-Asa Firaaunur-Raso-l F Akhznahu Akhznaw Wabila
So Pharaoh disobeyed that messenger, so We caught him very hard (in his punishment).
17. Fakai-f tattaku-na in kafar-tum yaumanyayj alul wilda-na shiba
So if you also do not believe, then why will you avoid the punishment of that day which will make the children old.
18. Assma-u Munfatirum Bihi Ka-na Waduhu Mafaula
The day the sky splits (it) his promise will be fulfilled
19. Inn hajihi tajqi-ratun f-man sha’at-kh-za ila rabbihi sabeela
Indeed, this is an admonition, so whoever wants to follow the path of his Lord
